Meet Our Team
Duncraven is a family owned farm that takes pride in its professional and friendly atmosphere. Our team is highly trained, with many years of experience. We are always available to answer questions, offer guidance and ultimately accommodate each rider or owner's particular needs and goals. We offer full-service horse care, training and professional instruction in hunters, jumpers, equitation, and the opportunity to compete at horse shows from the local to national level.
Tim founded Duncraven, Inc. in March of 1992. He received a B.A. in Hotel Restaurant Management from New Hampshire College and then spent a number of years in the family business which included real estate development and custom home construction. After over a year of research, which included attending horse shows and visiting dozens of other show barns, Tim hired some of the most experienced horse professionals in the area and built a state of the art riding and training equestrian facility.
Over the years, Duncraven has become one of the premier riding, showing, and training facilities in New Jersey.
Nancy received a B.S. in Equine Studies from Centenary College and a B.H.S.A.I. from Kent College in England. Prior to joining Duncraven in 1992, Nancy instructed at Centenary College and then joined Four Seasons Farm where she worked as barn manager, instructor and rider from 1985-1992.
Since 1992 Nancy has been teaching, riding, training and showing for Duncraven. She has earned ribbons at Devon, Harrisburg, Washington and trained riders successfully in hunters, jumpers and equitation at "AA" shows on the east coast.
